World Health Day Commemoration

07 April is marked as the World Health Day according to the World Health Organisation (WHO). This day appreciates the good work done and the critical role played by the health workers to ensure that the world is in a better state of health.

This year’s World Health Day came a difficult period where the country and the world is battling with the deadly pandemic coronavirus. Health care workers like Doctors, Nurses, Pharmacists, Porters, Cleaners and Community Care Givers from public and private sector are at the forefront of COVID 19 response, ensuring that high quality of care and treatment is provided to all those affected by the coronavirus.

Our organisation is proud of all frontline health workers the majority of
whom are women for their dedication to health and wellness of the nation. We pray for their safety and protection.
