National Insurance Bill Inputs

The Progressive Women’s Movement of South Africa, held a consultative meeting on the 14th December 2019, with it stakeholders to discuss and make inputs on the National Insurance Bill (NHI). There were Medical Expects at the meeting who shared history with about the NHI, guidelines and the reasons why the women of South Africa need NHI. There were strong views from the Mental Health sector as well as the Disability sector.

A document has been drafted as the outcome of the Consultative NHI meeting and has been shared with provinces.
